Parade

Get ready for an unforgettable kickoff to the NFC Rodeo weekend with our Parade on Saturday at 4 PM! The streets will come alive with the electric energy of the community celebrating the spirit of rodeo! This parade is the perfect way to dive into the action, featuring everything from antique tractors to classic cars, horseback riders, and even our beloved Rodeo Royalty—each bringing their own flair to the festivities. It’s a parade full of excitement, pride, and tradition, all leading up to the thrill of the rodeo events ahead.

But that’s not all! The Rodeo Clown Contest is one of the most entertaining highlights of the weekend. Watch as contestants put on their best show of humor and antics in the hopes of winning the coveted Rodeo Clown Buckle! It’s a fun-filled competition you won’t want to miss, full of laughs, surprises, and plenty of clowning around.

And don’t forget about the Prizes! Our parade offers a chance for participants to win awards in several exciting categories:

Mutton Bustin

Hold on tight, because the action kicks off with Mutton Bustin’ at 7 PM—free for kids and packed with adrenaline! Watch as young riders take on the challenge of hanging on to a wild sheep in this exciting, family-friendly competition. It’s a true test of bravery, balance, and a whole lot of fun!

The Mutton Bustin’ winners don’t just take home bragging rights—they get the chance to compete during the Saturday night rodeo, showcasing their talent in front of a roaring crowd! But that’s not all—the Mutton Bustin’ Champion will earn a coveted buckle to mark their victory, a true rodeo honor that every young cowboy and cowgirl dreams of.

It’s a thrilling, heartwarming event that brings smiles to everyone’s face and kicks off the rodeo weekend in the most exciting way. Whether you’re cheering from the stands or taking part in the action, the Mutton Bustin’ competition is a must-see—and a must-do—for kids ready to show off their rodeo skills!

  • Turn right onto Airport Road (just before Love’s)
